France > Jura > Pupillin

Overnoy-Crinquand is one of the most recognisable names in the Jura, having grown grapes in Pupillin, the heart of Arbois, for four generations. This is a multi-faceted family operation, with the family growing and producing a number of commercial products on their estate. This Crémant is pure Chardonnay, offering textural plushness and and a breadth of inviting notes.

The vineyards, situated entirely within the confines of Pupillin, are on rather severe slopes within the area known as “La Bidode”. All farming aspects are handled organically and that has been the case since the establishment of the domaine many decades ago.

This Crémant is entirely Chardonnay.
It receives 30 months of lees contact and a mere 0.5 grams per litre dosage.
A non-vintage wine but produced exclusively from a single vintage.
It offers textural plushness and breadth balanced by striking minerality and a gently honeyed character.

The family farm is poly-cultural, with cows also being raised to produce the famed Comté cheese of the Jura. This would be a fantastic pairing with this sparkling blanc.
