Vineyard location: Crafted from grapes grown in the Campbell Ranch vineyard located in the Annapolis region of the Sonoma Coast AVA. The vineyard is located at an elevation of 750-1,100 feet above sea level and is planted on well-draining soils.
Farming practices: Farmed using sustainable and organic practices. The vineyard is dry-farmed, and the grapes are handpicked to ensure the highest quality fruit is used in the winemaking process.
Climate: Cool, coastal and heavily influenced by the Pacific Ocean. The region experiences moderate temperatures and abundant fog, which creates a long, slow growing season for the grapes.
Harvest: Handpicked in early September, at optimal ripeness. The fruit was carefully sorted to ensure only the best grapes were used in the wine.
Aging: Aged for 10 months in French oak barrels, 35% of which were new.
Bottling: Bottled in August 2022, after undergoing a light filtration.
