Since its founding in 1985, Staglin Family Vineyards has been dedicated to the production of world class wines that reflect the utterly unique character of Napa's Rutherford Bench. This Chardonnay is expressive of this unique terroir, with a touch of that acclaimed Rutherford dustiness in this otherwise lively and enticing white. This is in half bottle format.

Deep and beautifully layered, the 2019 offers up a striking mélange of tangerine peel, passion fruit, pineapple, white flowers and a kiss of French oak, all kicked up in a racy, voluptuous Chardonnay that is immensely captivating. On the palate, saline and mineral-inflected enlivened by composed acidity and hints of cardamom and turmeric root. A bit shy at first, this wine truly opens with some time in the glass. Lively and lifted, this cuvée dances on the palate through the long and balanced finish.
