98/100 - Incredible aromas of white truffle, meat, wet earth, lightly burnt orange peel and pure fruit. Medium-bodied and very compact, with a block of silky tannins that run through the palate and then come out at the end with a gorgeous texture. It’s very drinkable now, but will age wonderfully. This is a special release. They never made a serious blended riserva in their history.

In celebration of the success of the outstanding 2016 vintage, a special blend was also produced in tribute to the days when the best Barbaresco wines were traditionally made by blending grapes from multiple vineyards.
Thus, this blended Riserva was made, and named for the founding inspiration of the Produttori, Don Fiorino. This is the first blended Rieserva of its kind to be released by the cooperative in decades.
