The Liesse d'Harbonville Cuvée, exclusively crafted in Champagne Ployez-Jacquemart's best years, is a testament to exceptional winemaking. This oak-aged treasure, a harmonious blend of 66% Chardonnay, 17% Pinot Noir, and 17% Meunier, is handpicked for its standout quality. The non-malolactic fermentation technique preserves its crisp, vibrant character, while enriching it with complex, elegant aromas. The 2000 vintage dazzles with a lively golden sparkle and a fine effervescence, delivering a nose that's rich yet retains a youthful freshness.

94/100 - The flagship Brut Liesse d'Harbonville is superb in 2000. Vinification in oak adds texture and depth, but what impresses most about the 2000 is its freshness at nearly 20 years of age. Lemon confit, chamomile, dried flowers, kirsch and lightly honeyed tones infuse the 2000 with layers of complexity and nuance as well as character. This is such a gorgeous wine. The 2000 is a wine of character, and also one of the finest Champagnes I can remember tasting here. In a word: terrific. - Antonio Galloni, Vinous

17/20 - Lots of evolution on the nose, and the lightest of oak notes. Quite an open bead but with lots of nuance. Very atypical of champagne; hints of Meursault?! Certainly a very interesting wine. - Jancis Robinson MW

Laurence Ployez, at the helm of her family's Ployez-Jacquemart estate since 1930, crafts exceptional Champagnes in the Montagne de Reims. With a hands-on approach, she manages 2.15 hectares of premium vineyards and collaborates with trusted growers for the finest grapes. Laurence's unique touch? She highlights each vintage's distinct character, even in non-vintage blends, using minimal reserve wine and first press juice. Her Champagnes, fermented slowly in deep cellars, boast ultra-fine bubbles and are aged innovatively 'sur pointe' for a perfect balance of freshness and richness. With a light touch of dosage, each bottle from Ployez-Jacquemart is a true reflection of its harvest, a philosophy that's earned accolades from top wine critics.
