France > Languedoc-Roussillon > Corbières

In the Hautes-Corbières, a mountainous region of the Languedoc found between Narbonne and Perpignan, Maxime Magnon found a treasure: ancient vineyard parcels in steep, rocky soils destined to be abandoned, as local farmers were unwilling to break their backs for tiny yields of grapes that would inevitably get lost in the town co-op’s blend. Today, Campagnès is his greatest red, a century-old field Carignan that is fermented whole-cluster and bottled unfiltered.

A true Carignan with notes of black cherries and spices!
Bright and warm ripe fruit abounds.
The vines of this cuvée are more than 100 years old, entirely biodynamically grown.
To be enjoyed in its youth or for up to 10 years!
Pair with a roast beef or any rich, meaty stew.
