This wine is a great expression of the Sonoma Coast vineyards. By making wine with minimal intervention, Kutch manages to create Pinot Noir like this that shows genuine site definition.

92/100 - The 2022 Pinot Noir (Sonoma Coast) is a gorgeous entry-level wine in this range. Dark, beguiling and wonderfully complex, the 2022 offers up blue fruits, sage, mint, lavender and spice, all lifted by a healthy dose of whole cluster savoriness. This mid-weight, supple Pinot is all charm. - Antonio Galloni, Vinous

16+/20Transparent blueish crimson. Prettily perfumed. Then surprisingly sweet on the palate and a little bit of dry tannin on the end. This tastes like the product of a dry summer. I'd wait before drinking this. The fruit concentration isn't quite enough to distract from the tannin. - Jancis Robinson MW, JancisRobinson.com

On the nose, silky red cherry fruit with a hint of ripe strawberry.
On the palate, lovely, light and elegant with a core of pure, sweet fruit and some green notes, plus a touch of olive on the finish.

Kutch

When Jamie Kutch traded the high-octane world of Wall Street for the rolling vineyards of California in 2005, many raised an eyebrow. But skepticism turned to acclaim when his debut Pinot Noir notched an impressive 93 points in Wine Spectator. Jamie honed his skills alongside industry giants: he worked at Sonoma’s esteemed Kosta Browne and gained invaluable insights from Aubert... Read More >>
