This off-dry Riesling from Felton Road consistently ranks amongst our team's favourite whites, with its superb richness balanced by loads of schist-infused acidity. Opening with intense aromas of tropical fruit that entice and intrigue, notes of ripe stone fruit like peach and nectarine dominate the flavours that are fully integrated with the natural sweetness. Focus and long, the excellent 2024 vintage provided a detailed and classic rendition of this special style.
On the nose, intensely aromatic with notes of green apples, vanilla, lemon sherbert, tropical fruit, and a touch of minerality.
On the palate, well-layered and almost decadent, yet impeccably balanced by a focused throughline of acidity. Bold but delicate, with flavours of apricot, white peach, and citrus with a fine mineral finish.
