This rosé is predominantly Mourvèdre with a splash of Grenache and Cinsault, aged in stainless steel for 9 months to retain its freshness. Produced by Bandol icon Domaine Maubernard off one of the appellation's finest vineyards, this pink delights with notes of lovely red berry fruit balanced by excellent acidity and freshness.
91/100 - Very delicate aromas. On the palate, dark, sour cherries, crunchy, sour redcurrants and intense blackcurrants all carried along by impressively vibrant acidity. A firm saline minerality gives typical Mourvèdre and Bandol structure. However, it is the fresh fruit and lively acidity which makes this a very modern Bandol style and particularly accessible when young. - Elizabeth Gabay MW, Decanter
