Domaine Eden is the second label of famed California producer Mount Eden, with its wines made from grapes grown on a neighbouring mountain top in the Santa Cruz Mountains region. Originally planted in the early-1980s, the wines from this vineyard rival those of Mount Eden, though at a significantly more affordable price. Structured and terroir-driven, this is an ageable and affordable California Cab sure to delight with its flavours of blue and purple fruit, alongside touches of spice and herbal notes.
94/100 - The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon is such a sexy wine. Plush, deep and seductive, the 2019 is an opulent beauty the likes of which I don't think I have ever tasted here. A rush of black plum, tobacco, incense, dried herbs and licorice makes a strong first impression. Time in the glass brings out the wine's compelling aromatic nuances.
