Memorious  (1.4ha) is one of Domaine de la Côte's single site parcels, found just above the Santa Ynez River, immediately downslope of Bloom’s Field. Facing straight into the Pacific winds, the dark clay soils and exceptionally cool climate produce DDLC’s most brooding bottlings. Ever welcoming and engaging, this is a delicious and generous wine with deceptively subtle force.

On the nose, homey, inviting scents if warm, ripe berries, tea, tobacco, and cedar.
On the palate, it is texturally more tight than previous vintages. Awash with youthful energy now, this is a wine that will settle down after a few years in bottle.
