Pure, saline, and precious, Les Genevrières is an elegant, characterful, and mineral wine. Its purity is expressed gently over the years, as it develops notes of menthol, gunflint, citrus, and honey.
A touch of new oak and lees for toasty, buttery and honeyed notes, adding richness to an otherwise precise and floral Meursault.
Produced from 100% Chardonnay on clay-limestone soils.
Set halfway up a steep, rocky, limestone slope, this plot, planted in 1945,
Pairs delightfully with prawns in a garlic butter sauce or chicken in a rich, creamy sauce.
Has potential to age for 7-10 years.
