This is a fascinating expression of Chenin Blanc created by André Bruyns, with a specific focus on farming sustainably with some organic and biodynamic practices used. A delicious and thoroughly enjoyable white!
Aromas of yellow peach and apricot. Very concentrated on the palate with punchy acidity and a savoury finish that stops just short of bitterness.
92% Chenin Blanc, 8% Viognier. Taken from 35 year old vines in the Paardeberg Mountain. The granitic soils enhance the mineral qualities of the grapes.
Farming is sustainable with some organic and biodynamic practices used.
Pair alongside tuna tartare or seared scallops.
Can be enjoyed now but has ageing potential for at least 10 years.
