A superb value Merlot-dominant blend (73% Merlot, 21% Cabernet Franc, 6% Cabernet Sauvignon), from 40 year old vines planted in the excellent-value Lalande de Pomerol.
The 2020 Moncets is a juicy and elegant Lalande-de-Pomerol, exhibiting cherry, violet, cassis and blueberry aromas, followed by a medium to full-bodied, juicy and supple palate with seamless and sweet tannins. It’s a wine that retains enormous appeal. - Yohan Castaing
