A perfect expression of Sicilian terroir, this vibrant red is a blend of 40% Nero d’Avola, 40% Nerello Mascalese, and 20% Perricone. Described by Alessandro Viola - Sicily's leader in sustainable, minimal intervention winemaking - as “the perfect Sicilian blend,” Note di Rosso brings together the juicy fruit-forwardness of Nero d’Avola with the rusticity of Nerello Mascalese and the earthiness of Perricone. Sourced from the limestone and sandy soils of Alcamo and the clay-rich inland valleys near Santa Ninfa, Note di Rosso captures the essence of these diverse vineyard sites. Fresh and approachable, this wine bursts with Mediterranean flavors of ripe strawberries and liquorice root.
