The La Rinconada vineyard is found in the heart of the Sta. Rita Hills appellation, a truly exceptional vineyard just a hair's breadth from the region's most acclaimed site, Sanford & Benedict. A cooler-climate site, these tricenarian vines yield linear wines defined by true precision. Acid-driven, yet dense and rich enough to fill the palate, this is a perfect encapsulation of the Sandhi style. One of their most expressive Chardonnays, expect aromas of delicious golden apples, candied ginger, and pineapple. A truly Californian Chardonnay, this wine displays loads of mouthfeel and complexity alongside touches of white peach and spiced almonds.

The nose is extroverted and oceanic, chock-full of saline-tinged aromas such as seashells, low tide and kelp that hover over a textured richness. The palate is roundly textured and impressively focused, slingshotting into a blazingly bright and layered finish propelled by intense minerality without austerity.
