Husband-and-wife duo Alice and Olivier de Moor are renowned for their work with natural wines in Burgundy, having spent years crafting exceptionally pure wines in their small cellar in Courgis. Experts of Aligoté, this cuvée is sourced from 122-years-old vines located in Saint-Bris-le-Vineux, and is, perhaps, the greatest Aligoté we have ever tasted. Concentrated, excellently weighted, and superbly aromatic, this wine is a true rarity, only made in exceptional vintages.
93/100 - The 2022 Bourgogne Aligoté Plantation 1902 is vinified in barrel (10% new). It has a gorgeous bouquet with hints of praline and almond infusing the citrus fruit. It opens beautifully in the glass. The palate has wonderful weight, apricot and peach skin, complex with a touch of lemongrass towards the finish. Around 3,000 bottles produced.
