Memorious (1.4ha) is one of Domaine de la Côte's single site parcels, found just above the Santa Ynez River, immediately downslope of Bloom’s Field. Facing straight into the Pacific winds, the dark clay soils and exceptionally cool climate produce DDLC’s most brooding bottlings. Always welcoming and engaging, this is a delicious and generous wine with deceptively subtle force.
95/100 - The 2020 Pinot Noir Memorious is sublime. Rose petal, lavender, sage, mint, macerated cherry and blood orange give the 2020 captivating aromatic presence.
