With a history dating back well over a century, Weingut Carl Koch is one of Germany's most historic and acclaimed wineries. Thanks to this history, the estate is blessed with a large library of old vintages going back decades, small quantities of which are released to us throughout the year. This 1993 Müller-Thurgau Beerenauslese is one such example, and amazes with its rich aromas and ethereal sweetness.

Just a heads-up when you're ready to pour: the cork might be a bit tricky after 30 years. We suggest using an 'Ah-So' wine opener, or something similar, for a smoother opening. If the cork does break, don't worry. Just pour the wine through a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth into a decanter to catch any cork bits. Then, you're all set to enjoy this unique, aged Müller-Thurgau.
