The cool climate of Friuli in Italy's north-eastern corner makes it the perfect terroir for producing crisp, refreshing, and mineral driven whites. Located between the Alps and the Adriatic Sea, this region is particularly acclaimed for Ribolla Gialla, an indigenous varietal renowned for its exotic and aromatic flavours, as well as its distinct textural presence. This example, made by the Rapuzzi family at their domain in a small valley in the Friuli Colli Orientali DOCG, is a beautiful wine, loaded with enlivening flavours of citrus and orchard fruits. Grown organically and produced in a low intervention manner, this white is sure to delight with its perfect balance of acidity and minerality.
On the palate, excellent freshness and typicity, with a lovely acidic structure and distinct minerality. The finish is persistent, fresh, and flavourful. Great balance and drinkability.
