Château de Tourettes is French wine icon Jean-Marie Guffens-Heynen's project in the Southern Rhône. After growing discontent with the vacillating nature of Burgundy in the late 90s, he and his wife Maine decided to not only redefine this estate, but also showcase the untapped potential of the Luberon region. This Syrah is a excellent example of the variety, exhibiting bold berry flavors and a velvety smooth finish. A must-try for any wine enthusiast.
On the nose, layers of dark fruits, violet, and a touch of black pepper.
On the palate, notes of blackberry, plum, and hints of spice, with silky tannins that linger on the finish.
