France > Southern Rhône > Vaucluse

Château de Tourettes is French wine icon Jean-Marie Guffens-Heynen's project in the Southern Rhône. After growing discontent with the vacillating nature of Burgundy in the late 90s, he and his wife Maine decided to not only redefine this estate, but also showcase the untapped potential of the Luberon region. A matured and evolved cuvée composed of primarily Chardonnay, this wine - sourced entirely from a single plot - displays the natural richness and density of its unique terroir.

On the nose, aromas of yellow-fleshed fruits, sweet baking spice, and a hint of smoky reduction.
On the palate, it is revelatory of the creamy-textured richness of the South of France. Palate-filling, this wine is characterised by its nutty complexity and developed flavours.

Drinking beautifully now.

Try pairing with salmon in creamy white sauce or grilled chicken.
