Ovide' is Pierre Morin's top wine. Made from 50 year-old vines from gravelly limestone soil, this is a stunning expression of Sauvignon.
A wonderful intensity and depth of green herb, elderflower and mineral flavours. A rounded, textured middle and zingy acidity with a long finish.
Produced from vines that are planted on steep slopes surrounding the commune of Bué, three kilometres from Sancerre.
Gérard and Pierre have developed an excellent reputation for making rich, aromatic Sancerres.
Why not try with a goats cheese or feta salad.
Can drink young or can age nicely for up to 5 years.
