Sourced from a single plot of 30-year-old vines planted on a south-facing hill at the west end of Saint-Aubin, this is yet another fantastic white Burgundy from the ever-impressive Thomas Morey. Bright and fresh, this is a Chardonnay of resounding freshness and magnificent structure. With its characteristic fullness balanced by a refreshing acidity, this is exceptional value 1er Cru from a true master winemaker.
On the palate, notes of lemon custard and terrific concentration frame the way to a long and excellent finish.
Best enjoyed on the younger side, this wine is capable of ageing for at least five years.
Enjoy as an apéritif, or pair alongside pan-seared scallops, linguine with clams and white wine sauce, or grilled shrimp.
