Long considered one of our greatest value offerings, this Sangiovese was made entirely from young Chianti Classico fruit, but labelled as plain Sangiovese; exceptional quality for the money. This wine is superbly balanced, offering a delightful combination of red cherry fruit and creamy vanilla touches that result in a wine which punches well above its weight. The perfect red for a weeknight pizza or spag bol.
On the palate, juicy notes of wild bramble fruit dominate alongside the balanced, soft, and elegant mouthfeel. Surprisingly long on the finish, far outperforming its price.
