A Mano is the Puglia-based project of Mark Shannon and his partner Elvezia Sbalchiero, who have spent 18 years revolutionising the style and calibre of Puglian wines. Focusing on sourcing top quality grapes from old vine vineyards and vinifying in a modern style, the two have helped revitalised the reputation of this once lambasted region. Their Bianco is a blend of 75% Fiano Minutolo and 25% Greco, a compelling white which combines crisp, clean flavours with stunning concentration and length. Busting with orchard and citrus fruit notes alongside hints of white flowers, this is the perfect table white regardless of season.
On the palate, pronounced flavours of apricots, passion fruit, lime, and touches of almond dance around the palate. Fresh lively and mineral driven, this is a zippy white with racy acidity and an oh-so enjoyable spritz.
