Ebner-Ebenauer are one of Austria's most acclaimed producers, best-known for their exceptional white and red wines crafted around their home village of Poysdorf. Having delved into sparkling wine in the past decade, they've quickly become regarded as Austria's finest producer of Blanc de Blancs and Blanc de Noirs. This is their zero-dosage Blanc de Noirs, a wonderfully balanced and delightfully concentrated wine that matches up to the finest of Champagnes. Having aged on its lees for 7 years prior to disgorgement, it sings of gingerbread and red apple skins.
On the palate, taut, fresh, and full-bodied. Supple and dense yet uplifting, this is a remarkable Blanc de Noirs with a lovely, long finish. Flavours of Mirabelle and red fruit, as well as a touch of stony minerality.
