U.S.A. > California > Napa Valley

The flagship wine from Napa's first ever white wine only producer, this is a blend of Tocai Friulano, Ribolla Gialla, and Chardonnay from small vineyards around the Napa Valley. Fresh, subtle, and entirely unique, Annia leads with the florality and salinity of Tocai Friulano, supported by Ribolla Gialla's flavours of stone fruit and the weight of California Chardonnay.

90/100 - The 2023 Annia contains fruit from both Sonoma County (66%) and Napa County (34%). Inspired by the wines of northeastern Italy, it’s a blend of 43% Tocai Friulano, 34% Ribolla Gialla and 23% Chardonnay matured for six months in used French oak and stainless steel. The nose is bright and inviting: lemon, oyster shell and saline are accented by touches of bread dough and spice. The light-bodied palate is crisp and refreshing with vibrant, citrusy flavors and a kiss of texture. 3,717 cases produced. - Erin Brooks, Wine Advocate

93/100 - A blend of Tocai Friulano, Ribolla Gialla and Chardonnay from small vineyards around the Napa Valley. Each variety is harvested separately and fermented independently in French Oak—aromas of honey, lychee and crushed stone. The palate is fleshy and mouth-filling with rich, ripe peach and honeyed apricot, finishing with a mouthful of wild, savoury herbs. - Clive Pursehouse, Decanter

93/100 - In its 15th vintage, Massican is the only solely white wine producer in Napa Valley. This light-bodied blend of tocai friulano, ribolla gialla and chardonnay is inspired by Friuli in Italy and offers brisk mineral, citrus and floral aromas. Light-bodied, nicely tart and laden with stony, chalky elements and bitter lemon nuances. Drink or hold. - James Suckling
