This blend of the Mayacamas Estate and Rutherford Estate vineyards is a tribute to how the noble Merlot grape thrives in the Napa Valley. This Merlot has exceptional versatility for entertainment and dining.
92/100 - Nervy and savory, this medium-bodied wine mingles bay laurel, raspberry, tobacco and new leather on lightly tannic and slightly tangy texture. The wine is lively, a little grippy on the palate and makes the mouth water for the next bite of food. - Jim Gordon, Wine Enthusiast
The sweet red fruit nose is abundant with fresh cherry, raspberry and a hint of Bourbon vanilla. Plum and a very light cedar note emerge on the palate. Generous acidity and long soft tannins result in a lingering freshness.
