This is an incredibly unique aged white wine from Napa Valley with unbelievable complexity. Similar in style to the long-lived Sémillons of Australia's Hunter Valley, this wine's racy acidity is countered by nutty lees qualities and a slightly waxy evolving texture. Named nacré - French for mother-of-pearl - this label reflects the wines indelible minerality and affinity with seafood, especially oysters.
On the palate, flavours of grapefruit, lemon pith, and beeswax with alluring touches of minerality.

Consider pairing with burrata with grilled peaches and prosciutto or herb-crusted halibut with roasted cauliflower.
This wine is crisp, racy and focused, with layer upon layer of flavor that opens up with decantation.
The fruit for this bottling was grown in the heart of the Napa Valley, just north of the town of Yountville by the Hoxsey family. Planted in the 1950s by Andy Hoxsey and his father, the soils are a mix of alluvial loam, river cobble, and volcanic. The vines are organically tended and dry farmed.
