One of our newest finds from France, Clair de Brumes is the exemplary Pouilly-Fumé estate of the acclaimed Saget family. Présage is the introductory wine to their range, a blend of multiple sites which cover the varying terroir of the region. Gently fermented and aged for 8 months in stainless steel, this is a wonderfully light and refreshing example of Pouilly-Fumé. Distinguished by its electrifying flavours of grapefruit and lemon alongside touches of the famous gun flint note of Pouilly-Fumé, this is top-tier Sauvignon perfect for enjoying a warm day or with light seafood fare.
On the palate, expressive and well-balanced. Refreshing flavours of crisp citrus fruit dominate alongside alluring hints of minerality. Acidic yet well-structured thanks to frequent bâttonage.
