Graves de Pez is the domaine of Maxim St-Martin, who purchased the holdings from his uncle in 2008 at just twenty-one years of age. Having ended the practice of selling grapes to the local co-op to, Maxime has developed and refined his style over the subsequent years, now crafting alluring wines defined by their wonderfully aromatic notes of red fruit and spices. Sourced entirely from plots sitting on limestone bedrock on the classic deep gravels of Saint-Estèphe, this is a typically well-structured wines with exceptionally fine tannins. Tremendously good value for money.

2% Petit Verdot
On the nose, displays aromas of hedgerow berries with a leafy cedar wood note.
On the palate, notes of earthy dark fruits alongside touches of leather. Fine tannins lead the way to a long, lingering finish. Elegant and balanced.
