This Cabernet is drastically unlike those found in the warmer regions of Napa Valley or inland Sonoma. This vineyard - planted as recently as 2019 - is located just 7.5km from the Pacific Ocean atop sandstone, well outside the typical region for Cabernet Sauvignon in California.
A lower alcohol Cabernet at just 12,5% ABV, this wine sees just 5% new French oak and a remarkable 15% stem inclusion ratio. Only 23 cases were produced, making this an extremely limited quantity bottling.
