Founded in 2013, London Cru is the UK’s first urban winery - and Roberson’s very own - tucked away down a little alleyway in Fulham, in an old Victorian warehouse which was once a gin distillery. Since 2018, the team have focused entirely on English fruit, working with some of the country’s best vineyards.

The Blanc de Noirs 2022 was made from 100% Pinot Noir grapes harvested on the 10th October, in the Bluestone Vineyard (Wiltshire). Matured sur lattes for just over 12 months to retain fruit purity.

A delicate pink hue hints at its Blanc de Noirs nature. Finessed and elegant on the nose, it shows notes of just-ripe strawberry, pomegranate and nectarine. The palate is lively and juicy, with a dry yet rounder mouthfeel than its Blanc de Blancs sister cuvée, finishing with lovely minerality. An excellent aperitif fizz.

Made from 100% Pinot Noir grapes harvested on the 10th October, in the Bluestone Vineyard (Wiltshire). The grapes were gently whole-cluster pressed to extract the juice without any of the phenolic bitterness. Alcoholic and malolactic fermentations took place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, followed by maturation in stainless steel tanks, before being bottled for the secondary fermentation and further ageing sur lattes for just over 12 months.
