For the first time, Roberson's very own winery, London Cru, is thrilled to release a still Pinot Gris wine. Relatively rare in England, we are fortunate to source Pinot Gris from two outstanding vineyards in West Sussex. Our own Foxhole Vineyard contributed 84% of the grapes, while the other 16% came from Locksash Vineyard - just a few minutes away from Foxhole.
On the nose, inviting aromas of pear, nectarine, blossom, and ginger. On the palate, a burst of crisp, mouth-watering citrus flavours unfolds, beautifully balanced by plush, juicy stone-fruit notes. Lively acidity adds a refreshing, invigorating lift.
Excellent as an apéritif, consider pairing alongside oysters, ceviche, salmon, salads, or mild cheeses.
