Made with old vine Gamay grown in some of the region's best sites, but labelled as Beaujolais-Villages and sold at a superb price. This wine is naturally made, not using any sulphur during vilification or bottling.

Soaring aromas of crushed cherry and blackberry fruit; medium-bodied; balanced and elegant.

Location: Beaujolais-Villages.
Size: 2.8 hectares.
Altitude: 400m.
Vines: 25-65-year-old Gamay vines grown on granite soil
In the winery:
Cold carbonic vinification, wild yeast fermentation, minimal SO2, unfiltered bottling.
Matured in 3,000-liter ovoid tanks and horizontal vats on fine lees to retain fruitiness and prevent oxidation.
Recommendations:
Drink on release or keep for up to five years.
Like all great Beaujolais, delicious on its own lightly chilled, or with a plate of charcuterie.
