From Julien Sunier, one of Beaujolais' most exciting producers, comes this epic Beaujolais-Villages. Made with old vine Gamay grown in some of the region's best sites, but labelled as Beaujolais-Villages, it offers great value for money.
Made without any addition of sulphur during vinification, it's full of personality and charming rusticity, energetic and juicy, with a savoury and wild edge adding character. A must-try for natural-wine lovers.

Vines: 25-65-year-old Gamay vines grown on granite soil
In the winery:
Cold carbonic vinification, wild yeast fermentation, minimal SO2, unfiltered bottling.
Matured in 3,000-liter ovoid tanks and horizontal vats on fine lees to retain fruitiness and prevent oxidation.
Recommendations:
Drink on release or keep for up to five years.
Like all great Beaujolais, delicious on its own lightly chilled, or with a plate of charcuterie.
