This Pinot Gris from Jolie-Laide is sourced from grapes in the Suisun Valley, an often unsung wine region south-east of the more famous Napa Valley. Beautifully aromatic, this alluring wine shows attractive notes of white teas and flowers on the nose before opening into a palate marked by flavours of peach, melon, and lime.
Thanks to two to three days of skin contact, this Pinot Gris straddles the line between a textural white and a lighter style of orange wine. Layered and generous, it's also extremely versatile at the table.
On the palate, silky and lush mouthfeel with perfectly balanced acidity.
