Beaujolais Nouveau isn't just a style of Gamay, it's one of the wine world's true celebrations. Celebrating the conclusion of harvest, these fresh and fruity vins de primeur (early wines) are released to the market on the third Thursday of November each year. This is one of our favourite Nouveau's produced by the always-impressive team at Domaine Dupeuble. Sourced from 50-100 years old vines grown on granite, clay, and limestone, the fruit undergoes carbonic maceration for just five days before being bottled unfiltered. With a bright bouquet of crunchy red fruit, liquorice, and red flowers, this is an effortlessly drinkable red perfect for toasting to any occasion.
On the palate, juicy red fruit flavours are accompanied by a tangy acidity and mineral-tinged finish.
