This opulent 1er Cru has great aromatic richness. It's characterized by dense, warm aromas of very ripe fruit - such as peach or tropical fruits - with an underlying hint of sweet spices and cinnamon. It has good structure, with a fruity, fleshy attack that opens onto a rich body with sweet, buttery and toasted notes. This wine captures all the power and smoothness of the Maréchaude terroir. It is no doubt the most indulgent of our Pouilly-Fuissés.
On the palate, subtle and well-balanced, combining graceful minerality with a refined structure.

Fantastic as an apéritif, the weight and indulgence of this wine makes it the perfect pairing for dishes such as pan-seared sea bass or slow-roasted chicken with leeks.
