The Les Murgers des Dents de Chien is a plot composed of 30-year-old vines which overlook the Grand Cru sites of Puligny-Montrachet. Its higher altitude location and nutrient-impoverished, limestone pebble soil yield a fine, subtle wine with marked acidity. It is a feminine Chardonnay, evolving slowly with notes of blossom and spice. After some time spent in the glass, greater density and power emerge, making this is a scintillating drinking experience.
On the palate, noticeably saline with flavours of crushed stone minerality and green orchard fruit. Well-balanced with a fine through line of acidity, the finish is long and effortlessly enjoyable.
