The Clary Ranch vineyard is the coolest site that Arnot-Roberts work with, found just a few kilometers from the Pacific Ocean in the heart of Petaluma Gap. Planted in 2000, the prolonged growing season and clay-loam soils of the site yield Syrah grapes characterised by soaring aromatics, expressive exotic spice notes, and high natural acidity. Captivating with its aromas of game, scorched earth, black pepper, and dark red-fleshed fruit, this is cool-climate Syrah at its zenith. Stunning now and with the promise of graceful-ageing, this is a red sure to delight.

The mid-palate is a delightful mix of citrusy and earthy flavours with a warm, savoury twist. You'll notice a talc-like mineral quality that lingers.
