Bursting with classic Merlot aromatics of blackberry and ripe cherry alongside subtle hints of oak spice, this wine offers exceptional value for money in the UK's california wine market.
Using grapes from select vineyard sites in Sonoma and Napa counties. The sandy loam soil and vine age of 20+ years old provide a high-quality grape base for this textbook Merlot. The wine is fermented in both stainless steel and barrel, with a cultured yeast strain that enhances the varietal characteristics. Aged for six months in French oak, this wine is light in filtration and fining, resulting in a clean and bright finish.
