This Cabernet Sauvignon from the Fellom Ranch vineyard is the most reticent of the Arnot-Roberts Cabernets. Intensely savoury and earthy, the natural concentration of small berries with little juice and high solids gives the wine its dense, brooding feel.
95/100 - The 2021 Fellom Ranch is a rich, demonstrative wine. Sage, lavender, bay leaf, black cherry and dried herbs abound. Firm, substantial tannins will need time to settle down. Tiny juice yields and thick skins produced an especially potent, old-school Cabernet. Readers will have to be patient. There's real density and substance here. - Antonio Galloni, Vinous
On the palate, full-bodied with firm, grippy tannins and flavours of dried herbs and spice blended with hints of cedar and pine. Earthy and savoury, but still full of fruit.
