The Viano family moved to California's San Francisco Bay from Piedmont in 1920 and have been making excellent quality wines there ever since. Now one of the last wineries in the area, they have perfected the art of creating some of the best value amazing wines the US has to offer. Their Zinfandel is ripe, velvety, and loaded with berry flavours, ending with a peppery finish.

On the nose, this wine is bursting with aromas of red and black fruits, cracked black pepper, and a balsamic note at the end.
On the palate, the extended bottle ageing is a great benefit, softening the tannic punch of a Californian red.

Pair with grilled meats or roasted Padron peppers.

The site they bought had been planted in 1888 and they became one of fifteen wineries that slaked the thirst of San Francisco in a thriving winemaking community.
