Chardonnay grapes for still wine are one of the most difficult variations to find in the UK. That being said, 2023 proved to be a wonderful vintage for Chardonnay here, providing both ripeness and extremely high-quality fruit. Made in our winery in Fulham, this white bursts with lively acidity and vibrant green apple flavours. Grown in West Marden, West Sussex and from one of the best vintages for white wine in English history, an elegant, concentrated, and balanced Chardonnay.
On the nose, lively aromatics of citrus fruit and just-ripe nectarine are complemented by subtle sea spray and oak notes. On the palate, thirst-quenching acidity carries flavours of green apple and citrus, with a lovely, mouth-watering minerality.
Wonderful on its alone, you might enjoy this Chardonnay alongside local goat cheeses, dressed crab, poached fish, or seafood pasta.
