France > Jura > Pupillin

This Chardonnay is sourced from a south-facing Bidode parcel near the village of Pupillin, at the heart of the Jura region. It is an elegant example of Chardonnay, produced from vines with a minimum age of 60-years old and entirely hand-harvested. A classic example of Jura Chardonnay, this white is distinguished by its excellent acidity and long, mineral-based finish.

On the nose, refined and classical with notes of honey, hazelnut, citrus, and ripe orchard fruit.

On the palate, excellent, firm acidity with real fullness. Delightful concentration of ripe apples and lemon flavours, alongside a mineral-dominant finish.

Drink now - 2030.

Enjoy as an apéritif, or consider pairing alongside the local cheese delicacy, Comté, which the Overnoy-Crinquand family produce on their land. Also wonderful with coq au vin or grilled trout.
