The Star & Vine Lodi Cabernet Sauvignon is a delicious and heart-warming old vine red crafted by the Lange family of LangeTwins Winery in the heart of Lodi. Full with robust aromas of ripe cherry, cassis and vanilla, and generous yet smooth tannins, this is a well-made introduction to California Cabernet.
On the palate, it’s plush and juicy, showing flavours of dark cherry and blackcurrant married with savoury liquorice and cedar tones. Tannins are generous yet smooth, giving a toothsome grip, while gentle oak and sweet vanilla carry the finish. Warming, and satisfying.
