Pierre-Olivier Garcia founded his eponymous domaine in 2016, originally working exclusively in Nuits-Saint-Georges but having now acquired plots across Burgundy and its surrounding regions. This Brouilly - the southernmost Cru Beaujolais - was sourced from vines grown in the typical pink granite of Beaujolais, which ensure optimal ripening while adding a mineral intrigue to the wine. Deep red in colour with precise notes of pure red fruit and hints of spice on the palate, this is a textbook example of top-tier Brouilly.
On the palate, stunningly well balanced with bright acidity and excellent depth of fruit contributing to a long, elegant finish.
