Maxime Magnon Vin de France Blanc L'Estrade 2025

In the Hautes-Corbières, a mountainous region of the Languedoc found between Narbonne and Perpignan, Maxime Magnon found a treasure: ancient vineyard parcels in steep, rocky soils destined to be abandoned thanks to the creeping influence of co-ops. Since taking control of these gnarly, old vine parcels in the early-2000s, Maxime has helped rehabilitate the image of the Corbières, working with his century-old vines to craft intensely perfumed, alluringly bright wines from local varieties.

L’Estrade is a 50/50 blend of Grenache Blanc and Bourboulenc from vines near Peyriac-de-Mer, where a strong maritime influence shapes its character. Saline and mineral-driven, it’s a stunningly well-balanced white that shines as an aperitif or with seafood. Expect aromas of pear, green apple, citrus zest, and white flowers, with hints of sea spray and a crushed-rock minerality; on the palate, fresh and textured with a lively, saline finish.
