This is a rich and robust Pinot Noir from Maison Ambroise, a domaine based in the small village of Premeaux-Prissey just south of Nuits-Saint-Georges. All their vineyards are farmed organically. New oak is a common theme at this domaine, with big bold flavours being the trademark of the property.
On the nose, it is rich and deep with dark and red fruit aromas. It shows attractive aromas of evolved spice and dry earthy notes.
On the palate, it is medium-bodied, silky smooth, and well structured.
